Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

In a recent interview with theTVaddict.com, Thomas Dekker, the actor who played John Connor in the Terminator spinoff TV series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, states that a direct-to-DVD film based off the TV show may be in the future. Dekker tells the website, "They’ve spoken about doing a TV movie. Well, not a TV movie, but kind of like a direct-to-DVD movie."

This will come as a pleasant surprise to fans of the TV show. The Sarah Connor Chronicles was recently canceled after two seasons, and it would seem executive producer Josh Friedman had some good ideas for season three. "I loved the story and I knew where the third season was going and I thought it was just so cool," Dekker said. "I love that Josh had the balls to make everybody kind of wait, and be patient. Unfortunately I guess people really weren’t that willing to be patient."

Season two of The Sarah Connor Chronicles is set to be released on DVD September 22.
