According to IGN, Time Warner (parent company of DC Comics) CEO Jeff Bewkes announced today that the company "plans to mine more aggressively the deep catalogue of DC Comics characters across Warner Brothers' theatrical, home video, TV and games divisions and across our other divisions as well." In other words, we're about to get lots of DC stuff.

Not much to complain about here. Comic book movies have been improving these days despite a previously poor track record (except for the direct-to-home-videos, which so far have pretty much all been disappointing).
As far as TV shows go, we probably won't see many serious programs - likely Cartoon Network stuff.

Bewkes said in the announcement, "[Regarding] DC, we are going to have a fairly interesting set of announcements and presentations pretty soon … like in a matter of weeks, I think."

In other words: Get ready for a flood of superhero media.
