Comic Con Thor and Captain America Posters Revealed ... And Are Amazing

The Unofficial San Diego Comic Con Blog found these two Thor and Captain America posters, exclusive to this year's Comic Con.

We don't know where or when precisely during SDCC they'll be available, but the writer of the post speculates they might be given away during the big Thor and Captain America panels on Saturday. Probably a good guess. Regardless, these are some of the coolest posters I've seen in some time, taking totally epic slants on the characters they depict.

Comic book film adaptations' superhero costumes can be a tricky thing to nail. Existing in the real, physical world, as opposed to within comic book art, they often have to be altered to avoid looking silly. If you adapt the look too literally, you end up with costumes that look like this 1990 iteration of Cap:
